We received funding from the ONC in 2010 to provide HIT workforce training through a certificate and Master's program and trained over 200 students through 2013. The funding period has ended, but we still offer the course
The Columbia HIT Certificate program is offered by the Columbia University Department of Biomedical Informatics through the School of Physicians and Surgeons. The curriculum has been developed with the assistance of an advisory committee, comprising individuals from industry, academia, and government organizations. Faculty and visiting lecturers include a variety of experts in applied biomedical informatics and health information technology.
